OK, I don't watch American Idol. However, after being prompted by my girlfriend to "check out Idol" last season, I tuned in and was captured by Adam's incredible talent. Every one of his performances was exciting. The finale show last season was spectacular! (How many other artists could hold their own with the likes of Queen and Kiss?) I tuned in to Idol this season only once, to Adam do a brilliant job of mentoring and performing.
Every time he's on TV, he's articulate, smart and funny. He's a brilliant vocalist and showman, but somehow comes across as a genuinely "nice" guy. Every You Tube video of his live performances are nothing short of electrifying. I want to experience it for myself firsthand.
I've only gone to two concerts in my entire life: Metallica and Page & Plant. I'm treating my girlfriend (who suggested that I tune into Idol in the first place) to the Indiana show as a surprise birthday present. I'm really looking forward to it! This guy knows how to put on a show!
