I have a niece who is lesbian and I admit, it was a shock, but you know what? I love her just the same. I also recently discovered that a dear, dear friend of mines son is gay as well, I've known this kid since he was 6 and actually, the signs were there then. Oh, he had girlfriends, he even dated his best friend, my daughter for a period of time, and when he 'came out' I wasn't shocked at all. I still love him the same.
