I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... Adam was the best, the most enticing, the most versatile, the sexiest and most sensual, the most entertaining, the most talented, the most dramatic, the hottest and sweetest contestant ever in 8 seasons of American Idol.
I am 41. I have always watched Idol. But never was I so into it as this season when I fell for Adam like a ton of bricks. Never did I go to the Idol site and watch videos of a contestant over and over and over again. Ridiculous how he got me in his grasp with the eyes, the smile, the voice, the different styles. The only other artists who have me in their unescapable grasp are the four stunningly talented men of IL DIVO. Totally different style and genre, isn't it? I like a little opera and a little pop and they blend it together perfectly. I like variety. The variety in IL DIVO is that there are four men, four nationalities, four different personalities. The variety in Adam is that he presents himself in different styles, he comes on as the wild rock god and then turns around and gives us the 'clean' mesmerizing-bedroom-eyed-male model-look, which I personally favor the most, I find the more natural look very attractive in him. But I like all the styles to his performances, he is like a cameleon adapting his look to the mood of the song and he's always right on the money. As he said in an interview, we should accept and love each other just the way we are and find a common ground to come together and unite. Embrace our diversity. Isn't that a beautiful message? Looks and brains, killer combination. I wish him good luck in his career. I am sure he will fly high with no boundaries!
