I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Dear Adam,

I have waited my entire life to find out who my biggest hero was. And I've been through tons. But I never knew why I idolized them so much. What was so great about them? Why them? But there was something about you that was different from everyone else. I admired you from the moment you opened your mouth and I still didn't know why. Why you? Then American Idol ended, and you went out and told the world that you didn't lose anything, and that no matter what happened, you weren't going back to where you came from. You were here to stay. You didn't care about them, you wanted to be inspiration, and pride, and courage, and ambition. And I knew that you were it. You were my complete admiration. Because for the first time ever, I'd found a someone who became a celebrity because they tried their entire life to be in front and up top. Someone that was me once.

I knew that when I made it big, you were still going to be there, and you were the one and only that would never turn their back on a dreamer like me. You give me faith, and it's because of you that I've got extra strive and drive. Sure, I have the confidence and whatever else to make it there, to Hollywood, or wherever else I may end up. But it's because of you that I have so much hope. You are a very special man, Adam Lambert. I hope you know that.
And you do everything you can to inspire the people in this world that feel different because they are ambitious, and hearing those words of wisdom from someone who really, truly gets you, and isn't just making words that make you feel like maybe there is something to live for, but that it's convincing and believable, and very real and very genuine... Coming from someone who really cares, and is so true to himself... It makes you feel so good when you're an emotional outcast. More than good. You make me feel like all this waiting in my life actually means something. I dont know what. But it doesn't matter, because you told me that it was worth it, and that was all I needed to hear.

You made me realize that all I need to do is be myself. I cant thank you enough for that.
