Hi Adam,

I used to live in Paris and I think the areas you'd love the most are the Latin Quarter ('quartier latin') in the 5th and 6th arrondissements, and Le Marais in the 4th, both with plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars. Le Marais has several gay bars too. My cousin lives there, just above a gay bar!
