I have watched American Idol 7 out of 9 seasons now and Season 8 was no big deal - or so I thought. Honestly, I wasn't an Adam fan. My favorite was Allison and I was pretty sure Kris was going to win. Adam was good but what was with the screaming? I enjoyed watching him but I never downloaded any of his Idol songs (regretting that so much now). I do remember thinking that it would be interesting to see what type of album he would be releasing in the future. But I didn't go to the American Idol Concert when it was in town, I didn't buy Rolling Stone with Adam on the cover and I certainly didn't spend hours on the Internet watching YouTube. And then I watched the AMA's. Adam's performance left me in shock. Then I watched it again, and again, and again. Holy s***! I was hooked from that day forward. My life has revolved around Adam since then. That's a bit scary but I'm having fun. I truly think being an Adam fan has enriched my life in so many ways. Thank you to the "powers-that-be" for putting Adam Lambert on this planet. Oh, and I love to listen to him 'scream'.
